We endeavour to show the original country of origin for as many plants as we can, in line with The World Garden at Lullingstone Castle, even if they have been 'improved' by breeding. For example, Abutilon 'Waltz' has been bred by man, but the genus originates from South America.

Abutilon 'Kentish Belle' AGM: Compact, semi-evergreen arching shrub with dark green palmate leaves. Large bell shaped flowers with pale yellow petals and a dark red calyx making for a nice contrast. Pretty hardy, didn't kill mine last year so fingers crossed!
Up to 2 metres tall on a sheltered site.
Abutilon 'Waltz': South America. Huge bowl shaped flowers in a rich golden yellow. Pinch tips during the growing season to keep bushy. Not hardy, but should make it in a very sheltered corner with horticultural fleece- worth the extra work though!
Acacia baileyana 'Purpurea' Highly ornamental large shrub. Light grey-blue leaves, purple flushed new growth. Golden fluffy flowers in spring.Hardy in a sheltered spot. Later 2024
Acacia dealbata AGM: "Mimosa" Fast growing evergreen tree with very ferny leaves. Masses of fragrant fluffy yellow flowers in spring. Full Sun.
Acanthus sennii: Ethiopian hardy variety, sheltered site for tallest growth and good flowering performance. Spiny holly-like foliage and spikes of orange-red lipped flower late summer
Agapanthus 'Black Pantha': "African Lily" Almost black buds produce deep blue trumpets on long stems with a dark tinge. Really unusual- we have supplied this variety as the selection in the World Garden (Sienna/Senna) is no longer commercially produced, and is unreliable from seed. Absolutely every person who sees these dark flowers on almost black stems falls in love with them
Agastache Blue Boa: Sheltered site for this one, by far the 'blowsiest' flowers of rich sky blues and soft highly aromatic foliage.
Agastache 'Blue Fortune': Hardy extremely upright habit which stands up to the weather well. Flowers pale blue and a little disappointing at first but then fill out with age.
Agastache 'Little Black Adder': "Mexican Mint" A must for the bee friendly garden. A hardy herbaceous perennial with nettle type foliage smelling strongly of mint when brushed past. Lovely violet mauve flower spikes. The inner spike persists long after the flowers have dropped so lengthening the display. Compact habit
Ageratina altissima 'Chocolate': "Snakeroot" Herbaceous perennial with delicious rich purpley to chocolate tinged stems and foliage. Nice strong upright growth, and tiny little white flowers in autumn. Makes a bold statement. Up to 1 metre, hardy
Anisodontea 'El Rayo': Hardy semi evergreen shrub, up to 1.5 metres tall. Strong upright stems and slightly hairy leaves bush out to make a nice shaped shrub. Very large saucer shaped strong rose pink flowers with darker magenta centre and veining are produced over a long summer period, flowering well into the winter (under plastic). Outside, although knocked back to the ground by The Beast From The East, it is flourishing again.
Arum italicum susp. italicum 'Marmoratum' AGM: North Africa. Hardy tuberous perennial grown for the pretty marbled foliage and spathes which are followed by bright long lasting berries.

Baptisia australis AGM: Northern American hardy summer flowering perennial. Pea like pale green foliage is topped by beautiful indigo flowers. Prefers moist, neutral to acidic soil.
Begonia fuchsioides pink syn foliosa var. miniata pink flowered AGM: Tender evergreen Begonia from South America. Can be grown up a cane to reach 4 foot tall! Small dark green leaves and numerous pendant pale pink flowers which darken later in the season.
Begonia luxurians AGM: "Palm Leaf Begonia" Can grow up to 2 metres in a season! Brazilian lovely that likes humid shaded conditions, producing large leaves made up of many leaflets which hang downwards from the petiole. Yellow and white racemes of flowers are pretty, but it is mainly grown for the tropical foliage
Begonia grandis evansiana: Chinese tuberous perennial, hardy with thick reddish stems and olive green good sized foliage. Later summer brings good fresh pink flowers which age to darker pink seed pods
Begonia sinensis: Nice hardy variety with thinner growth than evansiana, pale green foliage and pretty pale pink flowers. more delicate habit.
Begonia sutherlandii AGM: Tanzania. Tuberous hardy variety, emerging in late spring-fresh green leaves with thin red edging are held on reddish stems. Prefers full shade, somewhere it can act as ground cover, or is very pleasing grown in a basket or trough as it will trail at least 0.5 Metres! Plentiful pale apricot flowers with yellow anthers show up well in a gloomy spot, one of my favourite plants.
Bidens heterophylla/aurea: "Beggar's Ticks" Unusual cottage garden plant from Northern America. Loose sprays of primrose flowers above feathery foliage in summer and autumn. Up to 1.8m in damper conditions! Hardy.
Bletilla striata pink AGM and white varieties: "Hyacinth Orchid" Hardy ground Orchid from Asia. Deciduous terrestrial Orchid with long lance shaped leaves and bell shaped flowers in spring and summer.
Boehmeria biloba: Japan. "Sandpaper Plant" Hardy nettle relative without the sting! Impressive slightly crinkled dull green foliage. Clump forming with insignificant flowers.
Boehmeria sieboldiana: "Siebold's False Nettle" One for the back of the border, tall growing with nettle shaped leaves but super-sized in fresh glossy green. Inconspicuous flowers
Boehmeria spicata 'Red Form': Nice bushy habit with many smaller serrated leaves, lovely red stems and long red flower tassels with small greeny white bobble flowers.
Buddleja x weyeriana: Hybrid of B. davidii and B. globosa, with prolific buttery yellow flower spikes from June until November. Very hardy, growth up to 2 metres

Callistemon citrinus 'Splendens' AGM: "Bottlebrush" Narrow pointed leaves and beautiful flower clusters most noted for their many long stamens. Brilliant red flowers and pinky young growth. Needs some winter protection but will tolerate light frost if the wood is ripe.
Callistemon citrinus 'White Anzac': "Bottlebrush" Narrow pointed leaves and beautiful flower clusters most noted for their many long stamens. Low spreading form with the best white flowers. Loved by bees, butterflies and all insects.Needs some winter protection but will tolerate light frost if the wood is ripe.
Callistemon glaucus/linearis AGM: "Albany Bottlebrush" Slightly smaller flowers and thinner leaves but much hardier than citrinus. Very upright growth, loved by bees, butterflies and all insects. Strong red flowers.
Callistemon 'Mauve Mist': Willowy leaves and long upright to arching growth. Pinky-mauve flowers in spring and summer. Seems fairly hardy...
Callistemon pityoides: "Alpine Bottlebrush" Fine needle like leaves sprouting from very hard bark. Pale cream to golden yellow fluffy flowers, loved by bees, butterflies and all insects.
Canna 'Cleopatra': One of the best for striking foliage, fresh green with bold sections of reddish purple. Tall upright habit, red and yellow flowers.
Canna indica 'Purpurea' Herbaceous perennial with large upright bronzy-purple leaves up to 2metres tall growth.Bright orange-red flowers from mid summer
Canna 'Musifolia' AGM : "Banana-Leaved Canna" Well over 2 metres tall with reedy canes and palmy foliage flushed red.Small red flowers in warm areas.
Canna 'Striata' syn 'Pretoria' AGM: "Bengal Tiger" Green and yellow striped leaves with maroon edges up to 1 metre. Bright orange flowers in summer.
Cantua buxifolia (red form) AGM: "Sacred Flower of the Incas" "Peruvian Magic Tree" Southern America Upright scrambling semi evergreen shrub (no frost for this one..) Spring brings an amazing show of strong pink tubular flowers with red petal lobes. Hanging in large clusters, these flowers certainly look magical! Can reach 3-4 metres with support!!
Carex 'Silver Sceptre': European hardy, low mound forming variety of Carex with many thin, soft cream and green variegated leaves. Tough as old boots and spreads well to make a carpet, even on dry shaded areas.
Carex testacea 'Prarie Fire': "New Zealand Sedge" Very nice upright variety, with tough thin leaves in shades of gold through to orange. Good on hot dry sites. Hardy.
Ceratostigma abyssinicum: Half hardy shrub from Ethiopia with sky blue flowers particularly reminiscent of Plumbago. Foliage turns brilliant red as the flowers are produced. Can be trained as a climber- ours has reached 10 foot under a covered outdoor path and is still flowering as snow is falling in January!
Ceratostigma willmottianum 'Summer Skies': Shrubby variety from W China and Tibet. Good strong upright growth with reddish prickly effect flower buds in clusters which open to lovely pale sky blue. Hardy
Ceratostigma plumbaginoides: Ground cover herbaceous variety with green foliage flushed red in autumn. Deep sky blue flowers held above the foliage makes for a striking splash
Cestrum elegans: Semi evergreen shrub with upright growth and pretty soft rose pink flowers in simmer sometimes followed by purple berries.
Cestrum 'Newelii AGM: Tall variety reaching 2-2.5metres. Not reliably hardy in cold winters (will take minus 5 deg) but if sheltered will flower right through winter with wonderful slightly pendulous sprays of rich ruby red tubular flowers.
Chloranthus henryi: Lovely woodland hardy perennial from Asia, with glossy deep green leaves and small sprays of scented white flowers. Up to 30 cm maximum. *
Colquhounia coccinea: "Himalayan Mint Shrub" Pretty hardy, although will appreciate shelter from waterlogging in the winter. Soft silvery grey pointed leaves, strongly aromatic- smells like pineapple! In late summer to autumn it will have whorls of orange-red showy tubular flowers. Another favourite!
Coprosma rugosa 'Clearwater Gold': New Zealand. Very unusual and rarely offered divaricating shrub. Tiny green leaves on reddish brown zig-zag stems, very pale gold when young making the whole shrub seem to glow. Makes a good statement shrub. Hardy, semi evergreen. Will regenerate from base if damaged or harsh weather.
Corokia cotoneaster: "Wire netting bush" Very hardy shrub from New Zealand with zig-zag branches covered in tiny dark green leaves. Many small gold flowers in spring.
Corokia x virgata 'Frosted Chocolate': Hybrid with matt beige-green foliage in winter which deepens to a hot chocolate shade in the summer. Up to approx 1.5 metres.
Coronilla varia: "Crown Vetch" Absolutely beautiful hardy clumping plant- keep in a container though as it can run away!! Palest pink pea flowers, above grey green foliage.
Cosmos astrosanguineus 'Chocamocha': "The Chocolate Plant" Upright tuberous perennial discovered growing in the wild in Mexico (now extinct) Hardy if planted deep and mulched thickly in winter. Long stems are topped by beautiful large maroon-red flowers which smell strongly of chocolate, especially when the sun is on them.
Crocosmia 'Columbus': Extremely desirable variety with upright foliage and flower buds of gold with purple bracts.
Crocosmia 'George Davison' and 'Lucifer': "Montbretia" Cormous South African hardy perennials with sword shaped leaves and showy funnel shaped flowers in summer. 'Lucifer' has vivid red flowers on stems up to 1.5 metres. 'George Davison' has rich amber yellow flowers up to 1 metre.

Dahlia campanulata: "Weeping Tree Dahlia" Hardy Mexican native with slender tall stems up to 3 metres tall! Lovely rich pink blooms hang from the panicles. Very choice
Dahlia imperialis: "Tree Dahlia" Stonking thick trunk-like stems up to 3 metres tall. Very impactful in a tropical/jungle planting scheme, although extremely late to flower (mostly the frosts get them..)
Dahlia merckii: Rarely offered variety of Dahlia with small single pale pink flowers with gold centres on slender stems. Fresh green foliage is softer to handle than other Dahlias, and the whole plants moves beautifully in the breeze. Up to 1.5-2 metres.OUT OF STOCK
Dahlia 'Mexican Black': Very desirable Dahlia x Chocolate Cosmos. Retaining the chocolate scent, the sultry dark red flowers with golden anthers appear early summer and last until the frosts. Hardy.
Dahlia 'War of The Roses': Not often offered for sale, this variety is a bit of an enigma. Originating from France, the story goes that in the 1850's a family warring over the inheritance of a chateau ended in allowing it to fall into disrepair. Out of the neglected gardens, this variety survived and was collected, although it's original French name is unknown. The total randomness of the colours on individual flowers has some experts baffled, as it follows no known pattern! Hardy too!WAITING LIST
Darmera peltata: Tropical style foliage, this looks like a miniature Gunnera- great for a boggy area, the leaves can reach up to 2 foot across! Lovely pink round flower clusters emerge in spring on long stems before the foliage comes. Autumn colour too!
Delosperma cooperi: "Jewel of the Desert" Hardy alpine from South Africa. Fleshy grey-green trailing foliage with large magenta flowers with tiny pale yellow/white anthers in spring/early summer.
Delosperma nubigenum: Hardy miniature Ice Plant from South Africa. Forms a dense mat of small fleshy leaves. Starry yellow flowers with gold anthers smother the plant in spring/early summer.
Diascia fetcaniensis: South African hardy variety that keeps on flowering all summer in shades of rich rose pink. It tends to form a low mound and spread that way, or does extremely well in raised tubs as it trails down the sides.
Diascia personata : Strong growing upright square stems with mid green spear shaped leaves. Loads of shell pink flowers clothe the ends of the stems and last for a long period. The plant itself it semi evergreen and perennial (hardy). Up to 90cm.
Diascia personata 'Hopleys': A better selection I find, very good strong growth that holds together well and hugely long lasting flowers. Not much difference size wise to personata, flowers possibly a little more peachy pink than shell pink
Dichroa febrifuga: Half hardy Hydrangea like shrub from South and South East Asia. Showy blue or pink flowers with prominent stamens. Used as an important herb in traditional Chinese medicine.
Dicksonia antarctica 'Soft Tree Fern' AGM: Originating from Australia, this fern is deciduous in colder climates, leaving the stout reddish brown stem/trunk over winter. Glossy deep green deeply cut fronds of up to 3 metres in length emerge in the spring. Dislikes strong winds and dryness. I have young plants available (no trunks yet)
Diervilla x splendens: "Bush Honeysuckle" Asia. Invaluable hardy suckering shrub which can tolerate dry shade (although it will perform better with a little moisture!) Deciduous foliage which emerges as fresh green and darkens to a reddish bronze over the season. Small pretty pale yellow flowers in late spring. Unchecked it can reach 1.2 metres.
Digitalis/Isoplexis canariensis: "Canary Island Foxglove" Woody based tender perennial with rough deep green toothed leaves. From early summer, the mature plant produces multiple spikes of hooded apricot to soft orange flowers until much later in the season.
Worth a little extra care. Up to 1.5 metres.
Dodonea viscosa purpurea: "Purple Hop Bush" South Africa, Australia and America. Unusual evergreen foliar interest perennial shrub, up to 300cm, deep red foliage darkens in full sun. Shelter from frost, well drained soil.
Doodia media: NZ "Rasp Fern" Reputedly fully hardy but I would offer some protection in snow/ice conditions. Rough ladder foliage with new fronds emerging red, makes a nice bushy clump up to 40cm
Drimys/Tasmannia lanceolata: "Tasmanian Pepperberry" Compact hardy evergreen shrub with glossy dark green leaves held on red stems. Cream coloured perfumed flowers in spring are followed by shiny black berries. Makes a nice statement shrub.

Echinacea pallida: Prominent central cone edged with drooping thin pale pink to purple petals. Vigorous and long lasting flowers, hardy too!
Echinacea purpurea : "Purple Coneflower" Hardy herbaceous perennial native to North America. Low clumps of dark green leaves, long flower stems topped with a large "daisy" flowerhead with a pronounced pale orange centre.
Echinacea purpurea 'Alba': (White Swan) Slightly shorter than E. purpurea, and with paler green foliage. White daisies with a cool gold central cone from mid summer. Hardy.
Epimedium x versicolor 'Sulphureum' AGM: Beautiful flowers like tiny daffodils. The outer petals are pale lemon with darker yellow in the centre. A European variety, and one of the easiest. Spring 2021
Erigeron karvinskianus AGM: "Mexican Fleabane" Spreading perennial up to 15cm high. Narrow foliage and daisy flowers opening white then turning pink with age.
Eryngium venustum: Mexican hardy variety. Rarely offered rosette forming silvery green very spiky foliage. Long flower stems with round greeny flowers.
Eringium x zabelii 'Big Blue' AGM: Very prickly steel blue flowers on long stems from mounding variegated foliage. Stunning en masse, a real showstopper. 75cm Summer 2021
Euonymus alatus 'Compactus' AGM: "Winged Spindle Tree" Siberia. A must have hardy dwarf shrub for autumn colour- stinging pinky red to purple colours persisting well through the season. Corky ridged bark with fresh green leaves in spring. Early winter the red seed pods burst open to reveal bright orange fruits. Up to 1 metre.
Eupatorium rugosum/Ageritina 'Chocolate': Northern USA. Hardy herbaceous perennial with deep chocolate foliage all season. Insignificant white fluffy flowers late in the year. Prefers sun with moist soil.
Euphorbia x martini 'Ascot Rainbow': Europe. Hardy evergreen, colourful foliage variegated in fresh green and yellow with pink new growth. Smaller flowers than some varieies, lime green.
Euphorbia amygdaloides 'Purpurea': "Wood Spurge" Europe. Another good shade plant. Deep purple leaves and stems, flowering in zingy acid yellow in spring and early summer. Compact growth, hardy.
Euphorbia amygdaloides var. robbiae AGM: European hardy evergreen perennial to 50cm. Larger more rounded leaves in dense rosettes- good groundcover and a shade lover. Greeny yellow flowers rise above the foliage on thin stems in late spring. Excellent tolerance to dry shade.
Euphorbia mellifera AGM: "Canary Spurge" "Honey Spurge" Semi evergreen dramatic variety- big bold growth, pale yellow-green foliage with a central white stripe. Spring brings small browny bronze flowers with a strong honey scent. Seems hardy so far fingers crossed! Up to 2 metres
Euphorbia x pasteurii: Cross between E. mellifera and E. stygiana. Dark green leaves with white midribs, turning reddish in the autumn. Forms a rounded habit up to 1.5 metres. Hardy

Fascicularia bicolor ssp. canaliculata: Tropical looking member of the bromeliad family from Chile. Long, thin spiky leaves in large rosettes, grey green in colour. In late summer these redden at the bases to a bright red, with a cluster of rounded bright turquoisy-blue flowers! Pretty hardy in the UK, although dislikes excess wet and ice/snow sitting on it.
Fatsia japonica: "Paper Plant" Native to Japan, Korea and Taiwan. A good tough shrub which will thrive in most places but even in deep dry shade, which makes it a must have! Large glossy green leaves on long trunks topped with large umbels of densely packed white flowers in late autumn, which show well in darker areas. Up to 12 foot but responds to thinning (or shortening) well by shooting from the base.
Fatsia japonica 'Spider's Web': Boldy variegated form of Fatsia, really lights up a dark corner!
Fatsia japonica variegata: Very striking leaf variegation, solid blocks of cream and dark green really show well
Firmiana simplex: "Chinese Parasol Tree" Asian ornamental deciduous tree with large lobed leaves. Large fragrant flower inflorescences when mature followed by fruits. Sheltered site
Fragaria x ananassa 'Pink Panda': Ground covering ornamental Strawberry with rich pink large flowers and often small exquisitely flavoured fruits
Fuchsia 'Lady Boothby' AGM: South America. Hardy Fuchsia with red/purple large flowers all season. Called "the climbing Fuchsia" due to the strong very tall growth produced- I managed about 3 metres one year before the frosts came!
Fuchsia 'Thalia' AGM: Upright bushy variety with deep orange-red long tubular flowers until the frosts. Bronzed large leaves set the flowers off very nicely. Spring 2021
Fuchsia arborescens: "Tree Fuchsia" From the mountains of central America, this unusual variety of Fuchsia has very straight stems and large fresh green leaves giving it a slightly tropical appearance. In summer each stem tip has a spectacular panicle of many small bright pink flowers held aloft followed by edible purple-black berries. This really dislikes drying out and will thrive if given filtered sun and a moister atmosphere. Protect from frost- despite advice to the contrary we have never managed to keep it through the winter unprotected.
Fuchsia excorticata: New Zealand. Light brown/orange bark which peels with age. Very small greeny-purple flowers change to red, followed by dark purple berries. Can grow up to 15m in it's native habitat!!
Fuchsia fulgens subsp. grandiflora: Beautiful long slender flowers, pale orange, pale green large foliage, most unusual
Fuchsia hatschbachii AGM: Elegant and rarely sold Fuchsia from Brazil with lovely glossy leaves which can be tinged pink and pale yellow according to the temperatures. Slender pink/ purple flowers. Growth up to 1.2m. Frost hardy.
Fuchsia procumbens: Hardy very unusual Fuschsia from New Zealand. Totally prostrate, with many tiny rounded leaves. Curious tiny flowers facing upwards in greeny yellow and mauve with orange anthers. A good trailing basket plant for a talking point!
Fuchsia x bacillaris: Hardy naturally occuring Fuchsia hybrid from Mexico with many red/purple small flowers all season. Small leaves in profusion, up to 1 metre tall.

Gaura lindheimeri 'Freefolk Rosy': "Wandflower" Excellent mid-border perennial from North America. Attractive yellow-cream and green variegated foliage topped by the thinnest stems carrying pretty white flowers with pink picotee all through the season. Ideal for hot dry areas.
Geranium x catabrigiense 'Biokovo': "Cranesbill" Low growing hardy ground cover, very tolerant of most sites. Lovely aromatic semi evergreen foliage, palest pink flowers with dark pink anthers in early summer. Some autumn colour too. 20 cm.
Geranium macrorrhizum 'Bevan's Variety' : Northern Europe. Vigorous mat forming variety with aromatic semi-evergreen foliage. Strong rose pink-purple flowers in abundance in summer, up to 50cm. Hardy and tolerant of dry shade.
Geum rivale 'Leonard's Variety': Beautiful flared semi-double peachy pink bell flowers on slender stems above a rosette of deeply cut foliage. Moisture loving and prefers a shady spot. Totally hardy.
Ginkgo biloba: "Maidenhair Tree" One of the oldest living tree species. China. Deciduous conical shaped tree, fan shaped fresh green leaves turn clear buttery yellow in autumn. Although it is a large tree (up to 10 metres!) I have bonsai'd mine and it's growing nicely as a small shrub. Hardy.
Gladiolus papilo: "Butterfly Gladiolus" South African hardy bulb with extraordinary hooded flowers dusty pink and cream outers and yellow inner with reddish markings.

Hakonechloa macra 'Aureola' AGM: "Golden Japanese Forest Grass" Bright gold and green variegated foliage, slightly pendant but forming a nice clump. Reminiscent of Bamboo, but non invasive. Does well on moist soils. This variety will stay golden all summer if shaded, but in the sun will bleach to pale yellow and green with pink tones coming through in the autumn. Holds its form well into winter, hardy.

Helianthus 'Lemon Queen' AGM: Vigourous herbaceous perennial, tall stems up to 1.5m with pretty lemon yellow daisy flowers with darker centres
Helwingia chinensis (broad leaves): Extremely unusual evergreen shrub from China. Up to 1.5 metres, this shrub has deep green leaves with a maroon-reddish underside matched by the leaf stalks and stems. Interesting as it is the only plant to produce flowers from the centre of its leaves. Purple buds form, opening to greenish white flowers in spring. Likes a woodland situation on well drained soil.

Vinca difformis 'Jenny Pym': "Intermediate Periwinkle" European hardy subshrub with mid green shiny leaves, larger than those of Vinca minor. Two different stems come from the same plant (hence 'difformis') Long shoots do the travelling, layering anywhere the tip touches down. The other shoots are 30cm tall, and have many pale pink-mauve flowers with white centres. Great groundcover, and extremely tolerant of bad conditions (haven't managed to kill it yet!)

Yucca filamentosa 'Color Guard' AGM: "Adam's Needle" North America. Hardy perennial with architectural sword shaped leaves in bright green with a central rich yellow stripe. In colder weather the edges may turn pink, eventually flushing the whole central stripe pink. Tall stout stems bear large creamy white bell shaped flowers in the summer. Up to 60cm tall, fairly slow growing. *LOW*
Yucca gloriosa 'Variegata' AGM: "Variegated Spanish Dagger" North America. Very tough sword shaped leaves in a fresh green with mid yellow edges flushed pink in colder weather. Hardy evergreen perennial forming a trunk as it grows taller and older leaves drop off. Very tall strong stems bear waxy white bell shaped flowers in summer. Up to 250cm.

Aeonium arboreum: Tender succulent. Bright green shiny rosettes, yellow flowers late winter/spring, makes a good contrast grown with other varieties. Strongly branched, makes a good sturdy plant.

Aeonium goochiae: Tender succulent. Quite a floppy habit, so makes more of a mound/ trailing effect, but still an interesting smaller type of Aeonium. Small rosettes with pointed leaves and a sticky feel. Pale flowers in spring.

Aeonium 'Velour': Tender succulent. WOW.. just massive richly coloured rosettes, with a beautiful sheen to the foliage. Strong maroon/rosy chestnut colour. Due to the size of the rosettes, it will require support as it gets larger.

Aeonium 'Zwartkop' AGM: Tender succulent. Very dramatic Aeonium- deep purple/black glossy rosettes turning darker the more sun it gets. Yellow flowers late winter/spring. Nicely branched without too much support needed.
Andromischus cooperi AGM: "Plover Eggs Plant" South African dwarf succulent with unusual fan shaped leaves with a slight wavy edge. Each silvery green leaf is beautifully marked with purple speckles. Long straight flower stems hold tiny pale pink flowers. Not often offered for sale, so grab one!

Crassula marnieriana 'Hottentot': "Worm Plant"! Tender succulent. Extremely unusual slow growing form of Crassula with cream and green variegation tinged pink. The leaves are packed so closely together it resembles worms. Apparently the flowers smell revolting so don't give it as a gift as I did without warning!!
Crassula sarcocaulis AGM: South African semi-evergreen sub shrub, hardy if on a well drained sheltered site. Absolutely smothered with tiny pinky red flowers in summer.
